Dear Valued Patron,
Vegas Theatre Company and Art Square Theatre value the health and well-being of our patrons, artists, staff, and community at large. Inasmuch, we have decided to cancel the final four performances of Men on Boats this weekend. We apologize to our current ticket holders and potential audience who will not get to see this terrific production of which we are so proud.
Our organization, and many others like us, rely heavily on ticket sales; so we do not come to this decision lightly. In seventeen seasons we have never canceled a single mainstage performance. This decision by our board and executive staff was made after full consideration of the facts, and in consultation with other arts district theates and local arts allies. Given the highly physical, up-close nature of the show, and the proximity to the audience, we find it prudent to limit potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus for all involved.
If you currently hold a ticket for one of this weekend’s performances and would like a refund please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be most happy to facilitate that request; otherwise we thank you for your generous donation.
Thank you for your understanding. We hope and believe that taking swift action now will ensure that we can all return more swiftly to building the thriving arts and culture community that we all want and deserve. If you would like to be involved in the dialogue pertaining to issues the arts community is facing during this challenging time, we suggest visiting eatmoreartvegas online, or their facebook page. They're a wonderful community resource. We will continue to be in contact regarding future productions and dates.
Stay safe and we will see you soon.
