VTC’s Back Half Season is packed, pulsing, and ready to raise hell (and a little hope).
From gritty American classics to experimental horror, Vegas-born solo shows to a chaotic Christmas special with a drag twist, we’re closing 2025 with theatre that’s alive, urgent, and unafraid. You’ll find late-night burlesque, world premieres, youth-led musicals, and brand-new plays finding their voice in front of a live audience. Whether you’re coming for the heartbreak, the spectacle, the strange, or the sacred, we’ve saved you a seat.
This is the messy, magical back half. It’s got teeth. It’s got heart. And it’s all happening live.

by David Mamet.
Three desperate men. One silver coin. In this gritty, muscular classic of American theatre, small-time hustlers in a Chicago junk shop plot a heist of a valuable buffalo nickel, and discover how loyalty and business can clash with explosive consequences. Starring Ernie Curcio, a co-founder of VTC’s original Cockroach Theatre company returning to our stage, this production brings local history and raw drama together.
SEPTEMBER 2025

(Vegas Premiere) – created & directed by Jana Wimer. A wordless scream in the dark, a nightmare come to life on stage. Urban Death is the internationally acclaimed underground horror-theater sensation from L.A.’s Zombie Joe’s Underground, now making its Las Vegas debut just in time for spooky season. In a series of shocking, surreal vignettes, you’ll witness grotesque, bizarre, and utterly unpredictable horrors (and maybe laugh a little, if you’re as twisted as we are). Note: Contains intense horror imagery, nudity, and adult content – “not for the faint of heart” (LA Times )Recommended for ages 17+
OCTOBER 2025

A New Works Solo Festival. Big stories, one performer at a time. Solos is a curated festival of brand-new solo pieces by a diverse lineup of Vegas artists. From poignant monologues to comedic storytelling to experimental performance art, each act features an artist standing alone and laying it all on the line. Expect to laugh, cry, and discover breakthrough voices in this intimate festival. Each evening will feature multiple short solo acts, come see one or come see them all!
NOVEMBER 2025

Blanche DeBris’ Emergency Xmas Broadcast – a holiday musical spoof. Vegas’ queen of camp, Blanche DeBris, is live on-air to save Christmas, whether it needs saving or not! In this glitter-and-guffaws filled spectacular, Blanche’s TV special is going off the rails: the teleprompter is blank, the crew’s gone rogue, and co-hosts are dropping like flies. Can sheer holiday spirit (and sequins) hold it together? Featuring original songs (by Blanche DeBris and Eric Travis Wilson) and side-splitting guest appearances, this show is the fabulous antidote to the typical sentimental holiday fare. Performances: December 2025. Grab your tickets, and as Blanche would say, “Don’t you dare touch that dial, we’re live in 3, 2, 1…!”
DECEMBER 20205
Alongside our mainstage productions, VTC keeps the lights on late with "Cockroach Cabaret", a three-times-a-night variety explosion every First Friday, and "A Night Of...," a monthly burlesque-driven showcase of bold bodies and bolder ideas.
Meanwhile, in August our A3 youth program takes center stage with Tarrytown, a hauntingly beautiful student production of Adam Wachter’s reimagined Sleepy Hollow, and a brand-new devised work created entirely by our young ensemble. These aren’t side projects—they’re the beating heart of a theatre that believes in craft, community, and showing up onstage with nothing held back.
